Since 1824, a small country brewery in Grevenstein has been brewing beer according to the German Purity Law. Over 190 years later, one of the most modern private breweries in Europe stands here: the C. & A. VELTINS Brewery.

The foundations of this success story of the company, led by the Veltins family for five generations, lie in a passion for craftsmanship, willingness to innovate, financial strength, entrepreneurial foresight, and a corporate culture shaped equally by teamwork and the highest quality standards. To this day, the premium beer is brewed exclusively from high-quality ingredients – malt, hops, yeast, and pure spring water – strictly according to the 1516 Purity Law. The water that springs from sources in the nature reserve around Grevenstein is exceptionally soft.
